The Annapurna Circuit hike is one of the most popular trekking trails in the world. The trail spans over 8,000 kilometers and takes hikers through some of the most stunning and challenging mountain ranges in the world.

There are three main sections to the Annapurna Circuit: the base camp trek, the middle section, and the top section.

  • The first part of your hike will take you to base camp, which is located at an elevation of 3,500 meters. From here you'll be able to start your ascent up Mount Annapurna. The path is steep and winding, making it a challenge but also providing stunning views of all around.

  • After completing your ascent up Mount Annapurna, you'll be heading into the heart of the mountains. Here you'll find dense forests, snow-capped peaks, and raging rivers. The Middle Section can take between 4 and 7 days to complete depending on your pace.
  • Once you've reached the top of Mount Annapurna, you'll have reached the final section of the hike. From here you'll be able to see some of the most amazing views in all of Nepal. The journey down is equally as breathtaking as the journey up!

Finally, remember that even if you don't tour the full circuit, there are plenty of amazing sights and activities waiting for you in each of its villages and towns. So whether you choose the traditional itinerary or go off the beaten path, make sure you have plenty of everything you need—including enough water—to make the most of your adventure.
